Robert M. Foltz, Psy.D., will focus on the use of psy­chotrop­ic med­ica­tions and work­ing with psy­chi­a­trists on estab­lish­ing a ther­a­peu­tic relationship.

About the Speaker

Robert M. Foltz, Psy.D., is cur­rent­ly an Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor at the Chica­go School of Pro­fes­sion­al Psy­chol­o­gy, serves as the Direc­tor, Child Wel­fare Ini­tia­tives for Mul­ti-Dimen­sion­al Edu­ca­tion, Inc., and pro­vides ser­vices through pri­vate prac­tice. Dr. Foltz has also recent­ly served on Pres­i­dent Biden’s Tran­si­tion Com­mit­tee on the Wrap­Around Sub­com­mit­tee with­in Edu­ca­tion, con­sult­ed on the devel­op­ment of Best Prac­tices for Res­i­den­tial Inter­ven­tions for Youth and their Fam­i­lies: A Resource Guide for Judges and Legal Part­ners with Involve­ment in the Children’s Depen­den­cy Court Sys­tem, and served on the Illi­nois Depart­ment of Child & Fam­i­ly Ser­vices, Child & Fam­i­ly Ser­vices Advi­so­ry Council.
