2024 Hus­tle for Health 5K Run/​Walk

Join Ken­neth Young Cen­ter for a cel­e­bra­tion of Olympic pro­por­tions at the 23^rd Annu­al Hus­tle for Health 5K Run/​Walk on Sat­ur­day, June 22, 2024! 

There is plen­ty of friend­ly com­pe­ti­tion at the Hus­tle for Health, though it’s tru­ly pow­er­ful to see how we can all come togeth­er for the health of our com­mu­ni­ties. When we work togeth­er to reach our goals, that’s a true gold medal achieve­ment. We look for­ward to cel­e­brat­ing togeth­er at Grove 26 in Busse Woods in Elk Grove Vil­lage or virtually.

Event Details

Join Ken­neth Young Cen­ter (KYC) for a fun run or walk cel­e­bra­tion in hon­or of the sum­mer games. If you can’t go for the gold with us in per­son, you can join in the fun vir­tu­al­ly. How­ev­er you choose to par­tic­i­pate, we look for­ward to build­ing stronger, health­i­er com­mu­ni­ties togeth­er as we strive to raise $115,000 in sup­port of com­pre­hen­sive behav­ioral health pro­grams, old­er adult ser­vices, and com­mu­ni­ty health initiatives.

KYC’s Hus­tle for Health 5K Run/​Walk is our sig­na­ture fundrais­ing event that hon­ors our mis­sion and demon­strates our vision: that Togeth­er We Thrive. From pro­vid­ing ther­a­py to fam­i­lies nav­i­gat­ing chal­leng­ing times, to deliv­er­ing nutri­tious meals to home­bound old­er adults, to fos­ter­ing lead­er­ship oppor­tu­ni­ties among youth work­ing to cre­ate health­i­er com­mu­ni­ties for their peers — when you strive to reach your goal for the Hus­tle for Health, you’ll be a true champion.

This event is rain or shine so we will walk and run as long as it is safe to do so, but you must reg­is­ter to join the cel­e­bra­tion in-per­son.
