A Message From a Client

When we say that KYC provides life-changing and life-saving services, it’s because that is the feedback we hear directly from our clients and the community members we serve. Frequently, KYC is the only resource that community members can turn to when they are facing difficult situations and transitions. We are proud to connect them with the programs, resources, and understanding that they need to thrive with dignity and respect.

The message below was written by a client who chose to recognize two of our spectacular team members for all that they’ve done to help clients through our staff’s outstanding compassion and professionalism. We couldn’t be more grateful for the work that our team members do each day, and for the milestones and successes that our clients work hard to achieve.

Your gifts make this work possible. Our team makes this work phenomenal. Thank you to each member of the KYC community who supports our mission. Together, we will write more powerful stories like this.

Feeling Good Image

Hi my name is (name removed). I had a breakdown 3+ years ago. I went to many therapists, the only therapist that helped me is Courtney. I was emotionally paralyzed. I could hardly speak, walk, write, etc. I had shut down.

I started seeing Courtney 2+ years ago and she awakened me. She talked to me, she looked me in the eyes. She gave me exercises to do. She listened to me. I honestly owe my life to her. She saved me. I continue to see her once a month, I just love her. She is the best!

I’d like to give a shout out to Aracelly, she is such a professional and really can run the desk blindfolded.
