Providing for Pets Donation Form

Pet Pro­gram

Through the gen­eros­i­ty of Meals on Wheels Amer­i­ca and PetS­mart, KYC estab­lished our Pet Pro­gram to sup­port old­er adults and their pets to live safe­ly and health­ily in our com­mu­ni­ty. Pets pro­vide crit­i­cal social inter­ac­tion for their own­ers, pre­vent­ing iso­la­tion, depres­sion, cog­ni­tive decline, and lone­li­ness. Espe­cial­ly as the world has changed with COVID-19, pets offer a deep con­nect­ed­ness that ben­e­fits both pet and owner.

Please join us in sup­port­ing this impor­tant project! Give in hon­or of your pet or as a way to cel­e­brate a fur­ry friend to help ensure seniors in our com­mu­ni­ty nev­er have to chose between their own hunger and that of their companions.
