De-Escalation in the Modern World: What We Now Know

This workshop will provide current philosophies, strategies, and tools to facilitate a framework for crisis intervention. Presenter Melvin Tate will provide tools for attendees to de-escalate a person in crisis to their behavioral, cognitive, and emotional baselines; this will allow the person to utilize more rational thinking and engage in problem solving. Three CEU’s are available for LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT/MFT, Nurses, and CADC (pending). Continental breakfast will be provided.

The cost for non-KYC staff to attend this training is $30. KYC Staff can attend at no cost.
