Celebrating the Drop-In Center
Celebrating 11 Years of Community
The Drop-In Center unofficially opened its doors to the public mid-March in 2015. Two weeks later, on April 1, 2015, we welcomed two guests on our first official day of operation. The Drop-In Center had a small space, microwave, dishwasher, electric griddle, and utensils. Today, the Drop-In Center has a much larger space, a full working kitchen, a comfortable TV viewing space complete with a multi-media system, guest computers, and room to relax and connect with others.
Now celebrating its 11th year, our Drop-In Center welcomes 11 – 12 guests per day, serving over 60 unique individuals each month. In total, we have about 5,000 visits over the course of the year.
Join the Party on March 17th
In recognition of its growth, the Drop-In Center is hosting a combination anniversary and St. Patrick’s Day party on March 17, 2026 from 3:30PM — 8:00PM. Guests interested in attending can call 847−621−2040 ext. 400.
