KYC’s Pro­gram Train­ing Com­mit­tee Presents: Behav­ioral Treat­ment of Chron­ic Pain

Men­tal health pro­fes­sion­als are invit­ed to attend this inter­ac­tive and cut­ting-edge train­ing and learn cre­ative tools and tech­niques to trans­form your prac­tice. Learn pow­er­ful mind­ful­ness inter­ven­tions and moti­va­tion­al inter­view­ing tech­niques to move your clients towards behav­ior change. Mas­ter the four pain-chang­ing CBT tools. You will leave with the skills and con­fi­dence to pro­vide prac­ti­cal and life-chang­ing help to help peo­ple move out of chron­ic pain and into active, healthy and mean­ing­ful lives. Speak­er Eric K. Will­marth, PhD, a licensed clin­i­cal psy­chol­o­gist and founder and pres­i­dent of Michi­gan Behav­ioral Con­sul­tants, will lead this train­ing on a vir­tu­al platform.

Illi­nois Coun­selors and Social Work­ers will earn 6 hours of con­tin­u­ing edu­ca­tion cred­its for this pro­gram. Please see the fly­er below for addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion about the pro­gram and about the con­tin­u­ing edu­ca­tion cred­its that are avail­able for qual­i­fy­ing professions.
