International Overdose Awareness Day
This Overdose Awareness event is a celebration of life! Family, friends, and loved ones of all ages are welcome to join us for an event in honor of those we’ve lost to an overdose.
Leading up to the event, please help us light our communities purple by displaying a purple light on your home to raise awareness for substance use and mental health disorders. Then join us on the 31st for this free community event.
The afternoon will include:
- Guest speakers
- Narcan distribution and education
- Ribbon ceremony
- Resources
- Food
- Prayer vigil
- Celebration of life
- Overdose Awareness Proclamation
- Harm reduction trainings
