Parent Mentoring Program

Parent Mentors work with the parents of children with emotional and behavioral problems. Children in services at KYC present with a wide array of emotional and behavioral problems, from severe depression and social isolation to aggressive and out of control behavior. These problems are difficult for any parent to manage and often leave the parents feeling helpless and alone. The parent mentor works one on one with these parents offering support, guidance and intervention.
