KYC Finding Solutions House Walk

Last September we held our first annual Finding Solutions HouseWalk. Ten Elk Grove Village homeowners opened their houses to show how they have found solutions to problems of space, style, taste, and needs – and found a way to make a unique statement in their tract homes. Some of them remodeled rooms, brave ones took out walls, and even braver ones added a second story or blew out the back and added a huge addition. One family finished theirs, then bought the house next door and did it all again! House walk participants had the opportunity to hear about funny things that happened along the way and also heard about situations that arose and the solutions that the homeowners found and used to finish their redesign. 

It was a huge hit so we'll be doing it again!  We're taking applications for homes to be shown and sponsors for the event.  We'll also hold ana expo this year for products and services realted to homeownership.

Join us on September 25, 2010 for our 2nd annual walk which will showcase 10 more tract homes in Elk Grove Village.
